A TWO-mile stretch of Tilford Road between The Reeds Road, Tilford and Menin Way, Farnham is set to be closed until August 14 for surface dressing.
The work will be undertaken by Surrey County Council, with further closures for surface dressing scheduled in Churt, Elstead, Seale and Tongham.
Temporary traffic lights will also be in place on the A325 in Wrecclesham Hill opposite the development on the former Garden Style Nursery site, from August 13 to September 15.
Surrey’s cabinet member for place, Colin Kemp, also announced this week that Shortheath Road and Tilford Road, Hindhead are among the latest roads set to benefit from the county council’s investment of an extra £20 million towards winter road repairs.
Pine View Close and The Hart in Farnham, as well as Fifield Lane in Frensham, have already benefited from Surrey’s ‘severe weather recovery programme’ - with Menin Way, Crondall Lane, Tilford Road, Hale House Lane (Churt) and Seale Road (Elstead) next on the list.
