FIVE men have been arrested and class-A drugs seized following three police raids on properties in Bordon last week. Officers with search warrants entered homes in Atholl Road, Apollo Drive and Lake Drive last Tuesday and Thursday. Twelve officers were involved in the raids as well as officers from the constabulary's dog- support unit. Among the items seized at Atholl Road and Apollo Drive were crack cocaine and heroin, weapons and suspected stolen property. Five men have been arrested as a result of the swoop. One man has been released without charge and four men have been released on bail pending further enquiries. Sergeant Dave Hill said: "The aim of executing these warrants was to investigate and disrupt the supply of class-A drugs and reduce drug- related crime. "This is just one of a number of initiatives that we use to target criminal behaviour. We also rely on the community to report incidents to the police and work with us and other agencies to tackle the problem. "This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we will continue to target those selling drugs in East Hampshire. "I would urge anyone who has any information about illegal drugs or dealing in the area to contact the police on 0845 045 45 45, or give information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
