THE Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre in Frensham will be opening its doors to all for Christmas drinks and nibbles on Wednesday, December 13, from 6pm to 8pm.
The Arkell Centre says it is one of Farnham’s best kept secrets, being tucked away down Arkell Lane on the edge of Frensham village but having a national and international reputation as a centre of excellence in the field of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
More than 1,000 people visit the centre every year for help, and the centre also has a highly regarded teacher training arm, working in close tandem with schools across the Farnham area.
A spokesman said: “Come and meet the team, whether you are affected by dyslexia or simply interested in learning more about a local charity on your doorstep – we would love to see you.”
Visit the website www.helenarkell.org.uk to book a free ticket, or for more information email [email protected].
