Home-Start in Waverley's senior co-ordinator, Louise Granville-Jones, said: "Children – and parents – enjoyed face-painting, magic tricks and games, soft play, and tea and cake; all in all a great start to the season's celebrations!"
She added that Home-Start In Waverley currently supports more than 60 families who are struggling to cope with the demands of bringing up young children and they are always looking for new home visiting volunteers to help deliver their service.
If you are a family and feel in need of some support or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer, call 01252 737453 or visit homestartwaverley.org for more information.
The next volunteer course starts in January.
