Bin rounds in East Hampshire will run to a revised timetable over Christmas and New Year as crews work around the bank holidays.
Residents will see changes from Thursday, December 25, with some rounds pushed into the following week. E
East Hampshire District Council has published a full list of revised dates from Monday, December 22, through to Saturday, January 17, before normal service resumes on Monday, January 19, 2026.
The changes are as follows:

Bin calendars include the revised dates, and crews will take limited extra recycling. Recycling teams will accept additional material if it is left in a dry cardboard box or a clear plastic bag. Extra glass can be put out in a sturdy plastic box with handles, no larger than 38 litres and weighing under 5.5kg.
Garden waste collections will pause from Monday, December 22, restarting on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Real Christmas trees will be collected on the first scheduled garden waste round of the new year, although trees over six feet tall must be cut into pieces manageable for one person.
Clinical waste collections will continue as normal, as these rounds fall on Mondays and Tuesdays.
