PLANS to give East Street an interim clean-up while a larger re-generation brief is developed, have been given the go-ahead by town councillors.
Members of the council's planning and traffic committee agreed to put £6,000 towards a package of 16 measures designed to make the run-down area look and feel more pleasant.
