PRESSURE group East Street Action has called on Waverley Council to preserve buildings on the East Street site such as the bowling club pavilion, so that they will be ready to restore "when the current redevelopment scheme collapses".
Three members of the group have met Waverley's portfolio holder for the scheme, Adam Taylor-Smith, for an exchange of views on the site.
