WAVERLEY Council leader Robert Knowles has asserted that the East Street/Brightwells development is still viable and that the public will be provided with a detailed timescale "whenever appropriate". His statement came at a meeting of the full Waverley Council last week, in answering questions from the public regarding the lack of progress towards a start on the project.
