PRIVATE sector funding to construct the East Street/Brightwells is as yet still not finalised, more than a year after a Government inspector was told that a deal was close.

Public questioning at a meeting of the full Waverley Council last week has finally led to clarification of the situation by the portfolio holder for the development, Adam Taylor-Smith.
