ANOTHER chance to view redevelopment plans for East Street is being given to residents after 1,650 visited the first exhibition.

The second display is to be held at the Gostrey Centre, opposite Brightwell Gardens, on September 6 - 8.

Captain Peter Burden, councillor responsible for the East Street project, welcomed the level of interest from the initial exhibit, with nearly 900 response forms being received.

He said: ÒThis is great news and we look forward to releasing the information gathered from the feedback forms once the second exhibition has taken place.

ÒThis will continue to form part of the ongoing evaluation process and therefore, we would like as many people as possible to attend. We would especially like to hear from the younger people in Farnham and I invite them to give us their comments.Ó

Analysis of all information gathered will go before the council on September 16, before a decision on the selected developer is made by the full council on October 15.

The exhibition at the Gostrey Centre will now feature designs from seven shortlisted developers, as Berkeley Homes have now withdrawn).

It will be held between September 6 - 8, from 10 am - 8 pm on Friday, 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday, and 11am - 4 pm on Sunday.
