SOUTH East Water will be closing East Street at the junction of Dogflud Way for just over seven hours from 3pm on Sunday, September 28, to repair a leaking sluice valve. A further road closure will take place in the evening of Monday, September 29, to complete the final reinstatement. The company says it has worked closely with the local highways department to plan this work and advance warning boards are now on display to advise about the road closure. Traffic travelling into Farnham via East Street will not be affected. However, traffic leaving Farnham town centre via East Street will be diverted via Dogflud Way, East Street, South Street, the A31, Farnborough Road and Hale Road.
