ALTON Methodist Church celebrated Easter with a move across the road to take up temporary residence in Oceanic House while the church building in Drayman's Way undergoes a major refurbishment.

It was particularly symbolic as the congregation gathered, after their Easter Sunday morning service, to carry the flower-adorned Lenten Cross across the road to their temporary home.
