MORE than 100 youngsters with a passing interest in rugby have given the sport a try in Petersfield.
Some 120 children aged five to 11 took part in the club's 18th annual rugby workshop at Penns Field last weekend.
And the youngsters were given a major treat when England star Nick Easter turned up to offer some expert advice.
The three-day workshop opened last Friday under the watchful eye of perennial organiser James Blumlein.
Like Olympic organisers, the club is determined to "inspire a generation" by introducing more youngsters to rugby and sport in general.
