ECO-town project director Daphne Gardner is saying farewell to Whitehill and Bordon and retiring, having secured more than £15m to kick-start the town's regeneration.

Ms Gardner was instrumental in setting up the original Whitehill and Bordon Opportunity Project and developing the Green Town Vision.

She helped to secure eco-town status, as well as launching numerous town projects, including the renovation of the old fire station into the eco-station and the construction of the eco-town exhibition show house in its grounds.
