BORDON could become an even bigger Army base - it was revealed at Whitehill Town Council's meeting last Monday night, January 25 - when East Hampshire District Council leader David Parkinson was asked what was "Plan B" if the eco-town project was cancelled.

During public question time, Adrian Thomas, representing the Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club, told Mr Parkinson: "I feel the majority of the people in Bordon don't believe the eco-town is going ahead because if the Conservatives win the next election they will cancel it.
