PEOPLE of all ages were invited to Whitehill and Bordon’s Deadwater Valley on Saturday to learn more about its ecology.

The River Life event saw “perfect weather” and turned out to be a fun and informative way to spend the day, said Deadwater Valley Trust ranger Jenny Clarke.

“Everyone seemed to enjoy it - it was a lovely relaxed afternoon and we found some great specimens,” she added.

The next fixture on the Deadwater Valley Trust’s calendar of events will take place during half term - on Thursday, June 2. Bugs, Butterflies and Bubbles will be held at the Bordon Inclosure, behind Quebec Park in Camp Road, between 11am and1pm.
