FARNHAM Heath End School is delighted to announce the success of so many of their outgoing year 11 students.
Both the English and maths departments boast 64 per cent of their students achieving A* to C grades this year.
Art results stand at an astronomical 95 per cent with many other subjects improving on their performance last year. The attainment and progress eight grades, the new headline measures, also increased again this year.
Cydne Gambill was thrilled after receiving seven As, fours Bs and one C. She said: “I am from the United States and I was under the impression that we would be moving back, so I had skipped half of year 10 to complete my GCSEs before I left, and then I ended up staying another two years.
“I am very, very happy with my results. I really like it here in England, it’s really nice. I will go to college and if I get into university then I will stay.”
Cydne is now preparing for her next steps at Farnborough Sixth Form College, where she will study maths, physics and music technology.
Headteacher Nick Phillips said: “I am proud of the achievement of all of our students. These results are the culmination of five years of hard work by the students, their teachers and their supportive parents.
“Of particular note were Alec Lee with nine A*s, an A and a B grade, Imogen Clarke with five A*s, five As and C grade and Julia Lane with two A*s, eight As and a C grade. I am so proud of every individual student and their achievements.”
