Alton School has held its annual summer fete.

The event was filled with fun activities for all ages and brought together the whole school community. Attractions included maypole dancing, stalls, food and drink, and live music performances.

Children enjoyed ice creams, throwing sponges at their teachers and coronation-themed stalls including royal hoopla and pin the crown on King Charles III.

Parents enjoyed the music, sampling food and trying their luck at the tombola.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and support from everyone – parents, staff and pupils,” said headteacher Karl Guest. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the coronation in a fun and memorable way.”
