PUPILS put on their dancing shoes, taking to the playground to raise funds for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Over 150 children and parents gathered after school, dancing to pop songs by artists like Taylor Swift and Little Mix.

Rowledge Primary School Headteacher Sarah Oliver said: “The school are supporters of the charity and work with them every year to ensure that their children continue to learn how to stay safe, both in the real world and online.

“The Danceathon was a great event where all children and parents joined together to show their support for the charity!” Donations raised £208.50.
