A GENEROUS donation was made by The Hedgehogs to a local school for the purchasing of books for special needs children.

Potters Gate Primary School received a £1,000 donation to the school’s library.

In a presentation on June 24, the school displayed the culmination of the charitable donation with an exhibit of some of the books purchased.

Tris Bondsfield, Potters Gate librarian said: “We were thrilled that the Farnham Hedgehogs made a £1,000 donation. Now, with a new broad selection of books suitable for those with dyslexia, special educational needs or indeed children who need a more exciting, colourful book to engage, we are truly able to support every reader.”

Hedgehogs member Bob Jervis said: “The donation to Potters Gate library continues our approach to helping local organisations in need.”
