St Mary’s Infant School in Frensham invited its red cube gallery curators Fi Scimone, Graham Mollart and Angela Shaw to lead its art clubs.

Asking the children what they wanted to see in their mini gallery, they came up with their own 3Rs through which they could imagine a better world – Roots, Rivers and Rainbows. Birds appeared when Fi introduced Robert Macfarlane’s The Lost Words illustrated by Jackie Morris.

The South Street Trust have awarded a grant for artist and colour magician Louise Sillitoe Brown to work with a St Mary’s class on the theme of rainbows – which will become a future red cube gallery show.

The gallery curators thanked club organiser Emily Morgan and receptionist Sharon Millar for all of their work on the project.
