WEYDON School will once again host a ‘Get into Teaching’ event for people considering training to be a teacher next weekend.

The event, on Saturday, November 26, will be supported by the area’s highly regarded teacher training providers Teach@Weydon and Surrey South Farnham SCITTs, and the Ridgeway School representing special education.

Teachers and current trainees will be on hand to answer questions about routes into teaching, the application process and the bursaries that are available.

The event will be held in Weydon’s new theatre and the school will be featuring its own teacher training programme which has now expanded to include the vast majority of subjects across the secondary curriculum.
