IT WAS gold marks for Rowledge Primary School when it achieved the Gold School Games Mark Award for the second year running.

The award recognises the school’s contribution to sports across Surrey and Hampshire.

As the school is on the border of Surrey and Hampshire, the children have more opportunities available to them, according to Sue Jones, PE champion.

Headteacher Sarah Oliver said: "Children should have as many sporting experiences as possible while they are at primary school, including some of the more unusual sports."
