ALL Hallows School regained its title at the fifth annual Stellar Gymnastics schools’ tournament – triumphing over teams from Farnham Heath End, Weydon and Ash Manor schools.

Young gymnasts again lined up in the Heath End School sports hall for the contest on May 15, with All Hallows finishing first with a score of 417.89, Heath End second (413.72), Weydon third (406.72) and Ash Manor fourth (388.18).

Hannah Fox, head of Stellar Gymnastics, said: “Well done to All Hallows for taking back the title after three years. And a special well done to Heath End for climbing the ranks to take second.

“Very impressed with the quality of gym on display across all levels – it seems to improve year on year.

“Our passion at Stellar is to keep children in sport, especially girls of secondary school where the biggest drop-out is seen.

“The schools’ competition provides a fun and friendly environment in which the pupils show off what they can do. Since the first tournament in 2015 we have seen participation for this age group continually rise.”
