IN the run-up to the school Easter holidays, youngsters at a Frensham infant school showed off their creativity by creating some colourful Easter hats.

St Mary’s Infant School hosted its annual hat parade on Thursday, April 4, as well as an Easter egg rolling competition in the school playground.

But as part of the school’s efforts to be as plastic free as possible, this year’s Easter bonnets were made from recyclable materials.

Hats came in an array of bright colours with a variety of unique designs, as shown by several Woodpecker Class pupils.

The fun-filled afternoon was rounded off with cakes, which were provided by the Friends of St Mary’s School.

Youngsters also took part in a hunt for chocolate Easter eggs at Frensham Common during the last week of the spring term.
