AN enthusiastic cheer went up from children at Hale School as new banners were unveiled hailing the school’s new ‘good’ Ofsted status.

As previously reported in The Herald, Hale School was rated ‘good’ in all five areas measured by Ofsted in July following its latest inspection - superseding a 2015 ‘requires improvement’ rating.

Staff, children, parents and governors were delighted with the outcome which the school said was the result of “the unstinting hard work and effort from everyone involved”.
