Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) ambassadors from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines visited the Royal Prep School in Hindhead to work with pupils from Years 5 and 6.

The children enjoyed three workshops with the STEM ambassadors.

They used iPads to write code and control ‘Sphero’ robots, learnt about pneumatics and how this is used in everyday life as well as in the Navy – such as loading and launching missiles – and built circuits to launch ‘helicopters’.
