Seven-year-old schoolboy Leo Falconer has just completed the second climb of his Three Peaks Challenge, to raise money for Farnham-based hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell.

Leo is taking on the challenge over June and July, and has already hit his fundraising target of £500.

“Many grown-ups complete this challenge in 24 hours, but I’m seven and 127cm, so we thought one climb each fortnight would be more realistic for me,” he said.

Leo climbed Ben Nevis on June 3 and Snowdon on June 11, and he will climb Scafell Pike on July 2.

He added: “When I got to the top of Ben Nevis, I felt like a total superstar – it was amazing. It was fun and I felt really proud of myself.”
