BRAINY Barrow Hills pupils are celebrating a 100 per cent pass rate in the Common Entrance exam.
Sean Skehan, headmaster of the Witley school said: “We are once again extremely proud of our children, who have all worked so hard and are entirely deserving of these excellent results, which have gained them all entrance to their first choice of senior schools.
“While we will of course be sad to see them leave Barrow Hills, we are certain they will continue to achieve great things in their new schools and we wish them every happiness as they embark upon the next important stage of their lives.”
• Hot on the heels of the Common Entrance exam success and 100 per cent pass rate, pupils are celebrating earning scholarships to a number of senior schools.
A total of 20 confirmed scholarships have been won by Barrow Hills to eight different senior schools, including Cranleigh, Charterhouse, Prior’s Field and Barrow Hills’ partner school, King Edward’s Witley.
Headmaster Sean Skehan said: “Barrow Hills has a strong record of success in preparing its children for entry to a wide range of senior schools.
“The breadth of these awards reflects our ethos of all round involvement.
“We are incredibly proud of our children who have all worked extremely hard to achieve these impressive results.
“Each of the children can be proud that in September they will be entering their senior school of choice following excellent results in both Common Entrance and scholarship examinations.
“We wish them every success as they go forward into the next chapter of their lives.”
