AFTER reaching its first anniversary, Bohunt sixth form hosted an opening evening for prospective students at the Liphook school.
Headteacher Clare Hodgson called the new-style A-levels a challenge and the biggest academic leap for pupils choosing to go to college.
She highlighted that ‘subject mastering’ was the key to success, which Bohunt supports with bespoke teaching and personalised and interchangeable programme studying.
Clare said: “Information is power and we offer a range of 28 subjects to chose from, which of course include Science, Technology, English and Maths (STEM) as well as languages, media, drama, dance, art, music and photography.

She added: “Due to our smaller classes, we know all our students well and can move them forward through support from teachers, who are here every day.”
Neil Strowger, chief executive of Bohunt Education Trust, described the school DNA with three words – ‘innovation, opportunities and outdoor learning.’
He said: “The Duke of Edinburgh Award plays a big part in the Bohunt Education Trust and offers huge opportunities including a Chinese exchange and going to remote places all over the world.”
The sixth form takes it to the next level, where students can achieve a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
