SOUTH Farnham School received another accolade this week after being named one of the best schools in the country by high society magazine Tatler.
The school, split across two sites in The Bourne and Menin Way, was included in Tatler’s list of the 11 “gold star” state primary schools in the UK - providing further evidence of why so many affluent families look to settle in Farnham.
It comes after South Farnham recently topped the league tables for its 2015 Key Stage Two SATS results, achieving the highest grades of any school with 100 or more year six pupils in the country.
Bohunt School in nearby Liphook was also recognised in Tatler’s list of the UK’s top 21 state secondary schools.
Other schools featured in the guide include The Grey Coat Hospital in Westminster, the school selected by the Prime Minister, David Cameron for his daughter.
Tatler’s third annual guide on the top state schools in the UK is based on individual visits by researchers to each of the schools featured. The guide is included this month’s edition of the magazine, which was published on Monday.
