ONCE again, Weydon School has been put in the spotlight by the Department for Education.
As a part of the national drive to encourage people to consider training to teach, Weydon teachers and students have been chosen to feature in the Government’s ‘Get into Teaching’ campaign.
Three adverts have already been published in local and national newspapers and Weydon deputy headteacher Mark Sharman together with year seven students Charlie Pierce and Elisha Perigo feature in the main brand promotion.
Mark said Weydon is very proud to have been chosen to represent teachers and students across the country and is hopeful that more people will consider entering the profession as a result of the campaign.
