A HASLEMERE school has two new four-legged residents thanks to pupils who have learnt the art of willow sculpturing.

With deer never too far away from both Haslemere Prep School and Nursery, the two new additions in willow were created by children from nursery classes through to year eight.

Under the expert guidance of renowned willow artist Caroline Gregson, the experience for pupils is part of a new programme to introduce different forms of art into the classroom.

Caroline said: “I was particularly impressed by the boys focus, teamwork and staying power throughout the task.”
