CONSULTANTS are being enlisted to assess options for a new or improved swimming pool in Whitehill and Bordon. East Hampshire District Council said this week that as part of the town's regeneration one of the key facilities needed is a new swimming pool - or a "vastly upgraded" one. Its cabinet decided last week that action needs to be taken as there is a possibility a new school will be built at the new town centre (near Prince Philip Barracks) and this would have implications for the existing swimming pool at the Mill Chase Academy site.
