Farnham Library is encouraging people to drop in on Tuesday, February 27 to get electric blankets tested for free.

The drop-in will be from 9.30am to 4pm and testing will be done by Buckinghamshire & Surrey Trading Standards and Electrical Safety First.

If a blanket fails testing then people will get a new one courtesy of Dreams Beds.

The last campaign revealed 86 per cent of blankets failed testing and Surrey Libraries UK wants to ensure that people are safe.
