AN elderly man died on the A325 near Bordon last week.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said the 81-year-old driver died after his car collided with a tree on the A325 Farnham Road, at around 12.15pm on Tuesday.
“The paramedics were unable to save him and he died at the scene,” a police spokesman said.
“We have spoken to witnesses who saw the crash but would be keen to speak with anyone else.”
Both lanes remained shut for around five hours between Broxhead Farm Road and Station Road after the incident, causing congestion.
Anyone with information should call 101 and ask for Sergeant David Sanderson at Havant Police.
