THE days of illegal street car parking in Petersfield could be numbered if a plan to employ a temporary traffic warden is given the green light this week.

But while a replacement could be back on the streets within months, helping to keep the traffic moving, it could take up two years to implement the changes required to install a permanent traffic warden in the town.
