Kickstarting the afternoon activities off will be maypole dancing in the arena from 2.05pm, followed by music on stage from 2.35pm, with the procession leaving Hale school at 6pm and arriving on the green at 6.45pm.
There is even a dog show for those who fancy the chance of winning a rosette with their four-legged friend.
The fun carries on through until 10pm when the day closes with John Connely’s firework display.
“There will also be lots of stalls with games, cakes and sweets as well as other treats. We are a small committee who work hard throughout the year to put on what we hope will be a fantastic day for all, as well as raising money for our local schools and charities,” said a member of the Hale Carnival Committee. “So please come and enjoy a great family day, hopefully in the sunshine.
