ITALY is coming to Farnham, marking the start of Farnham’s Feast of Food, as Castle Street plays host to an Italian market on Friday, September 11, from 9am to 4pm.

Stallholders will be selling authentic Italian produce including fresh bread, olives, a range of cheese, pasta and torrone.

Jill Hargreaves, lead member for tourism and events, said: “I am delighted that we are able to welcome back the Italian market to Farnham. Although 2015 has not been the warmest of summers, our Italian friends will bring us a taste of the Mediterranean with their sun ripened olives, creamy cheese and sweet torrone. The Italian market is a perfect way to begin our celebration of international, national and local food.”

Simon Faro from Italia in Piazza said: “We are extremely happy to be able to come to Farnham again. We will bring you a truly Italian experience with all the quality produce you would expect to find in Italy with high standards of customer service and a vibrant atmosphere.”
