FAMILIES flocked to Secretts farm in Milford last week for a two-day holiday event by TJay’s, including an Easter egg hunt and the chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
Farm sales manager Nicola Secrett said: “We had really nice weather and it went very well.
“The activities were mainly laid on by TJays, but we had a barbecue and did sausage rolls with home-grown meat from our own pigs. We also had lunch boxes for the children, which were very popular. The idea was to make them with five healthy options.
“Visitors could sit and eat on the new benches at our Pick Your Own that were made by Greg and Charles Secrett.
“This is the first time we’ve staged an Easter event and there were also bouncy castles and a giant bubble machine.
“It was the first time, too, that our new chef Leila Rose had cooked for an event and visitors really liked her cakes. She made Easter cup cakes, as well as cheese scones and brownies.”
