A pottery workshop at Gostrey Meadow in Farnham attracted 72 children and adults keen to sink their hands into clay.
Led by the New Ashgate Gallery’s Rising Stars 2024 competition winner Jess Skelton, it was part of Musicals in the Meadow on August 31.
Gallery director Dr Outi Remes said: “We had a brilliant turnout for our free Craft Your Year: Punk Clay workshop. Families told us they loved the relaxed feel and the chance to spend time together.”
Parent Josh added: “The kids really engaged in the freedom to do what they wanted.”
Participants included a visitor from Japan, who stayed to watch the bands afterwards.
Jane Browne will lead the next workshop at the Farnham Food Festival in Castle Street on September 28 from 10am to 4pm.
