Adventurers and film enthusiasts will enjoy an evening of award-winning movies capturing the best of the planet when Kendal Mountain Tour 2024: A Night of Adventure Films visits the Theatre Royal Winchester on April 4 at 7pm.

These films take in the world’s most breathtaking landscapes while showcasing the year’s most daring feats of courage and tales of human resilience – including snowboarding down some of the world’s most unforgiving mountains, plunging into cold water and climbing thousands of feet with young children.

The films will be introduced by a member of the Kendal Mountain Tour team, with a talk from award-winning guest speaker Ash Bhardwaj, one of the country’s top travel writers in The Times who also has broadcast credits and is a podcast co-host.

With his debut book Why We Travel: A Journey into Human Motivation out next month, he will be sharing insights from his book including what people gain from venturing into the world.

This is an event that promises to ignite a sense of adventure in the theatregoers and will leave them appreciating nature and all the planet has to offer.
