The New Ashgate Gallery’s Rising Stars 2024 award winner will lead a public craft session in Farnham on August 31.

Jess Skelton’s Punk Clay event in Gostrey Meadow will be a bold hands-on session exploring expressive pottery through slab-building and kurinuki carving.

It is the latest in a series of free Craft Your Year drop-in family workshops organised by the gallery and Farnham Town Council with support from the South Street Trust.

New Ashgate director Dr Outi Remes said: “We are incredibly proud to work with Farnham Town Council and our partners to make Craft Your Year possible. These workshops are joyful, inclusive and rooted in the values of Farnham as a World Craft Town.”
