A preview of a new theatre production called All For Your Delight will be held at Farnham Maltings on October 3 at 7.30pm before it embarks on a UK-wide community tour.

Conceived and directed by the Maltings’ Katy Potter, with a script by Alex Kanefsky, the show features music by Olivier Award winner Darren Clark, the composer and lyricist behind recent Farnham Maltings production Ordinary People.

This is another vibrant and heartwarming project celebrating the joy and magic of live performance.

All For Your Delight is a theatrical spectacle for the whole community - a celebration of entertainment, nostalgia and the power of performance.

The show follows Danny, Jojo and Yaz on tour, bringing their madcap but heartfelt variety show to people across the country.

Before the summer season opens at the nation’s holiday parks, they are donning their famous Brightcoats and welcoming audiences into village halls, cricket pavilions and leisure centres up and down the UK.

The show is a dazzling mix of music, comedy, drag, magic and roller skating, and captures the essence of golden age variety entertainment.

But behind the sequins and spotlights, something deeper is unfolding. As the Brightcoats perform their best-loved routines, unexpected events bring personal stories to the surface, revealing what it truly means to live a life dedicated to performance.

Katy Potter, who is the director and deputy chief executive of Farnham Maltings, said: “At Farnham Maltings we believe theatre belongs at the heart of community life.

All For Your Delight is both a celebration of performance and a story about the people behind it - their hopes, their secrets and their joy. We can’t wait for the Farnham audience to be the first to experience it this October.”

The audience can chat with the company afterwards. For tickets, priced £10 (£8 members, £5 students), visit https://farnhammaltings.com/events/all-for-your-delight
