Artist Rosie Gunn is staging an exhibition called Stitching for Survival at the Red Cube Gallery in Frensham.
She has made cross-stitch and latch-hook pieces as a form of activism with messages to inspire change. Most of the materials are recycled.
Sharing the space of the Red Cube is a 2016 work by Rosie called Chain of Resistance, a conversation paper chain acting as a call to reflect upon how the UK got to the current point in its history.
Rosie is an artist, academic and activist working in the fields of photography, film, textiles, music and dance.
She has worked at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham for 25 years as a course leader and senior lecturer.
