A WARNING that parts of Liss could suffer serious environmental damage if plans for 95 homes on marshland areas of the village go ahead, has been made by an eminent botanist and plant expert.

Dr. Francis Rose has claimed that some of the proposed housing development could damage the springs, water table and draining system feeling the River Rother.
