POLICE have extended their search for information relating to the death of Hayley Curtis, whose body was found in a shallow grave next to the A3 at Petersfield.
Inquiries this week confirmed that Hayley was living in the Harlow area of Essex last October. She was seen at a travellersÕ site at the time.
Prostitute Hayley was found by a dog walker in a ditch next to the motorway at Weston, just south of Petersfield. The body had been partially buried in the field for some time.
Norfolk police travelled to Portsmouth with dental records to identify the body. A post-mortem revealed no obvious external injuries. It is hoped that toxicology tests will determine the cause of death.
HayleyÕs family also last saw her in October last year, in the Mile Cross area of Norwich.
Police spokeswoman Nina Terry said: ÒWe would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or had dealings with Hayley in Essex after Tuesday, October 16, 2001.Ó
Police are also trying to track down a man they believe may be involved with the incident.
Norfolk police would like to hear from anyone who may have been approached by a white, middle-aged man, driving a white flat-back tipper vehicle and inquiring into the location of womenÕs refuges.
Norfolk Constabulary will continue to lead the investigation and is co-ordinating inquiries with Hampshire and Essex police.
Anyone with information can contact the incident room on 01603 276636 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
