ST Thomas-on-the Bourne Church will host a Choral Eucharist for Peace on the evening of Remembrance Sunday (November 8) and all are invited.

The reflective service, themed around peace and including extracts from Faure’s Requiem, will be performed at 6pm by the renowned St Thomas choir.

Retired priest, Rev David Baker said: “On the morning of Remembrance Sunday this year, we shall remember all those men and women of every nation who have suffered or given their lives in the cause of justice and freedom.

“But this ought to just as much a day when we renew our resolve to work and pray for peace. That is why we shall be having a Eucharist for Peach that evening at 6pm at St Thomas’.”

The Eucharist for Peace is free to attend and worshippers of all denominations as well as non-church goers are welcome.
