The most ‘uber cool’ mayor in Farnham’s history is ready to strike a chord with parishioners as he’s gigging at the Badshot Lea Community Fete.
Big crowds are expected from midday this Saturday (June 7) in St George’s Church with the annual fete boasting games, craft and community stalls and tombolas – including a chocolate one.
Further highlights will include a bar, BBQ, cream teas and a grand raffle with a pet show at 1.30pm being a new addition and featuring ‘best rescue, fluffiest and most unusual’ categories among others.
There will also be live music with Farnham’s former mayor Brodie Mauluka, dubbed ‘uber cool’ by his replacement, George Murray, pulling the strings.
