EXPLORE Farnham Park, complete a navigation challenge and have fun as a family this summer with the return of the free Xplorer outdoor adventure.

Xplorer is the perfect outdoor activity for primary and pre-school children and around 900 people took part in the free adventure at parks across Waverley borough last year, racing against friends to complete the course and find all the markers.

Families are invited to take part this year in Farnham Park on Tuesday, August 14, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, and on Friday, September 1, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Jenny Else, Waverley Borough Council’s portfolio holder for health, well-being and culture, said: “Once again we have planned some fantastic, free and safe activities for families to take advantage of over the summer.

“Among them is the seventh Xplorer event we have held and each event gets bigger and better than the last. It’s such a great way for families to spend time exploring new skills together and is an opportunity which shouldn’t be missed.

“Find our more about what’s on over the summer on our website, including the skate park workshops in August.”

The Xplorer course lasts for approximately 30 minutes and everyone will receive a certificate and sticker for taking part.
